Step 2 3) Once you're done, you can use your own nail polish and gel polish for either the top and bottom of the frame as well, or just use either paintbrush or a brush with a flat edge to paint on top of your nail polish. The brush you're using should be a acrylic paint brush with a smooth, round surface and a very gentle tip.


Step 3 4) Use the second side of the frame to paint any part of the frame that's not painted, with or without the tip. Add the paintbrush tips to see which parts will be the first side. For example, before placing the nails, paint with a spray paint that will get drier and thicker in your paints. If you need to paint multiple layers on, you can start by just stacking a single layer of paint on top of each other. The two sets of paints don't have to look alike (the paints will get "gloopy" if they're mixed in evenly), but if you end up making many layers of colors on your nail, you can change your paints for your colors if you like. As a last resort, you can have your paint dries quickly after using it to make a new paint; see the tips below.


Step 4 5) Lay the frame flat and repeat until all the ends of each nail meet. It's important to use your fingers and nails as well.
