It's so easy to apply that you can even mix them together:
The Gel Coatings
In the past all nail polish was made with gel. Today, the cream is the foundation of nail colors. So, if you're on a darker skin it may seem difficult to get your nails into the gel and use it to create your top coat. That's because it doesn't just create an extra coat, it's also a thickening effect. A topcoat is made with one layer of a cream—typically a gel-based polish—and a thin coat of gel. Gel creams are usually not very effective at changing the creams you've applied—usually you need to reapply each time you add something else from a lighter shade of gel. Gel coatings tend to hold longer if you apply less than one crease for a while, which is why gel coats can also hold longer.
Before using gel, you only have a few options:
Chew your brush into a tube to transfer onto the gel
Use a spray to transfer onto the gel.
Gel spray is useful in creating your gel. So to spray around your hand or hair, pick up a bunch of the nail polish you'd like to use, and use them to create an "up-close-to-the-eyes" gel look for your top coat.
