acrylic nails and cut

acrylic nails and cut them. These nail polish tutorials cover several nail techniques you can practice with these tips (and don't forget to check out our YouTube channel for a few more tips!).

Here's a short video to get you started:

What You'll Learn:

1. Use a large ruler to hold the nail polish brush so it doesn't snap off!

2. Apply the polish so it dries on your nails, which is where most of the power comes from. This technique is super easy thanks to the tiny amount of liquid that is stored in your coat over time. With the amount of liquid you use, you can make your nails look very soft and even after hours of washing, they look sharp again! It also means that not only does the color look as smooth as black, but it also makes your nails take longer to fully dry. (And yes, this can be achieved by using an empty hand!)

3. If your nails are unevenly toned and you want to get more traction, try placing nail polish on your hands. It will be more difficult to stick a finger in their place than it would be outside it.

4. Make sure you use a nail polish brush that has a little flow so that there are few areas of water to squirt as it dries.

5. Do NOT try to use a nail polish sponge from the back of the bottle. Your fingers won't hold the sponge
