Kumar, a radiology specialist at the Indian Institute of Health Sciences, a number of factors predispose to urinary tract infection, including diet. An alternative explanation for the higher urinary tract infection risk with aspirin may stem from an increased intake of high-fat dairy products. Dr. Kumar says that while dairy appears healthy and safe, the health benefits of drinking yogurt may be outweighed by the negative health effects of consuming milk, cheese, and bread (also known as "bacon") fortified with sugar.
