How did you first get into nail colors?

The first I was familiar with. I was in junior high-school, and was working on a nail design. I had never heard of this industry, just wanted to start. So I called my mother at home, and I really wanted to join it and help people create great nail designs. The first thing I did was take some samples at home and make some of the designs in the studio.

I called my mom and asked, "How's this going?" And she told me about this fabulous brand that I love (I love nail design in a big way here). My mom went back and taught us how to make jewelry and gave us some samples and she sent me her. We bought the jewelry in a small box and we gave it to her. I guess I could never get back to where I'd lost any interest in this hobby.
