I was wondering if there could be a way to do an adjustable head of hair without leaving some sort of plastic, adhesive, or silicone hanging around the hair follicle.
I also wanted to know if there is an easy way to do this with simple wooden dowels, the best, and the one I saw here that is only 1mm long.
How to make this (yes, this was one part of the challenge in my search for a DIY DIY hair follicle that works without nail-removal)! Here are some ideas on how to get started
Step 1 – Find the Right Fabric
Materials
1. Lay the dowels out
2. Cut the 1″ holes into 3.5″ x 11″ x 6″ rectangle. (Make sure none of these is hidden in the center of the rectangle if not in a corner. This will ensure they don't come in contact with one another.) (See photo 1 at left.)
3. Use a screwdriver to cut through the dowels. I
