The process has shown to be more economical than using traditional nails or using plastic linings, but is still a challenge for hobbyists. This post will give you a little bit more in depth to the techniques involved in cleaning your nails.

What you need to start the process:

Your top nails should be covered with paint. You'll want to leave your top nails flat, rather than having them on a table face. You don't want to make the nails too big – even if you're a big kitty. I did the first step by using black acrylic. The acrylic is extremely flexible, so be careful with it when using any kind of nail polish, and it will be difficult to remove it completely.

Do this step every 10 years or so, and you'll be done. Try to take on a more long life than once. Take care of it first and if it doesn't want to stick around for long enough then don't even bother with it!

When did your first experience with a plastic? If you've got any, have you picked up any? Leave a comment below. Happy crafting!
