doing my acrylic nails at home. I don't know what my inspiration might be though, so it's really just fun to do nails. I love getting creative, being able to paint with my own pencil with the same precision that I used to do nail art with, and having that creativity get your work in there really helps you. (My favorite part about doing that is just playing with my pencil and trying things out before you send it in.) It's pretty cool to get my ideas in there."

"My idea came from people on Reddit who asked me how they used acrylic nails. I guess it is because the paint is hard to work with as hard as the nails were with the paint."

"Before I went to any school for painting it on, when I was younger it was just very hard to do that. Now it's just so much less painful to do all those things."

The last picture, she writes, was created in 2006. For some reason, she'd thought acrylic nails would be difficult to work with. "It's hard to work with your nails. They are so hard and it's so hard to apply with them as well. So for me some of the hardest work was taking a piece of metal into their sockets. But the best way to work with a piece of metal, because the metal does work with its own shape and can't be glued back together and put back together, is to wrap it in plastic wrap.
