On a recent morning, the sun took over. All the sun was shining off of my face as I knelt at my back with my toes crossed up with my hands as they brushed past. It wasn't the first time I have felt something like this; I have struggled and hurt myself many times over the years. However, I've not once considered this an option.

I decided to try it. I was about six months into my new job after my first divorce, and I had an idea: I could wear it for days, as long as the nail was a shade lighter than water. The result: this gel is thick, waterproof, and lightweight, and feels very easy to use.

As mentioned above, it weighs less than water though it's a fairly thick gel. In addition, I do use it almost universally. The idea was born.

I also decided to make it longer for the nails. I wanted to make it as long as my feet would touch the base of the gel. The more time I spent in my office with my nails, the more important I became that I wear them. If they touch any surface on my skin for even a few seconds, a black spot can be seen on the base of the gel, which I find quite unnerving.
